Our Albergue is exclusively for pilgrims.
All pilgrims are welcome to stay on your way to Santiago de Compostela, before and after the Camino.
You can also stay multiple days to recover and explore the beautiful city of Porto.
About Us
We opened our doors on the 29th of May 2016, by a private initiative with the partnership of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto. Through these years, we have already welcomed thousands of pilgrims from over 60 countries. And we can’t wait to meet you here too.
We love to create a harmonious experience that meets the needs of all pilgrims who visit our albergue in Porto. Our mission is to create a warm caring atmosphere where you can rest and recharge for the next step.
At our core, we are a pilgrim-run hostel dedicated to the well-being of fellow pilgrims.
We are open all year and you can easily make a reservation with us here.

16€ – Bed in Shared Room for 6, 8 or 12 pilgrims (bedsheet included)
64€ – Dormitory with 4 beds (bedsheets included)
96€ – Room with private bathroom for max 6 people (bedsheets included)
Private Twin Room available in: January, February, Murch, November, December:
50€ – Private Twin Room with private bathroom (bedsheets and towels included)
If you stay for more than one night, obligatory touristic taxes of 2€ per person per night are included.
Portuguese Caminho Credential available at the Albergue for 2€

how to arrive
The easiest, cheapest and fastest way to come to Albergue is to get the Metro. It takes around 25mins from the airport to Metro station “Carolina Michaelis”.
After you get off the Metro, please go to the opposite platform (be careful when crossing the tracks). You will find a staircase that leads to the street (you can also use the elevator).
Please turn right there and left at the next street corner. The Albergue de Peregrinos do Porto is on the right-hand side of the street. It´s just a two minutes walk.
